My name is not important, but in case you were wondering it is Shawn Mancill. I am a simple man. I have a passion, and that is living my life on mission for Jesus Christ. I am a Christian. I am not ashamed of that nor am I ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe in the Word (the Bible/Jesus). I believe that Christ died for each one of us, was buried in a tomb and rose on the third day. As a sinner, I do know that at times, we all fall short of the glory of God and I can be a Hypocrite in my sinfulness. Such is the life of anyone that is in sin and lives outside of the perfection that is in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But, by the grace of God I am redeemed by his blood and sacrifice. Because of this, I have a desire to serve my God with passion and in love.

 I like to hunt, fish, kayak, and camp. I guess that makes me an outdoorsman. I am fortunate enough to be married to the most wonderful woman in the world (thanks God ;)).  She too loves the outdoors. Maybe that makes her and outdoorswoman? We are not extravagant people; we just love the Lord and want to serve him. My prayer is that you who are reading this will be inspired and touched by the Holy Spirit to draw close to Jesus and to follow him with all your heart. I am excited about what God is doing in Birmingham and around the world. I hope you are too.
